Just 6 kilometers (about 3.5 miles) from the town of Tulum and deep into the Maya jungle you will find “Casa Monos”, the Monkey House. A luxurious jungle hideaway just minutes from the sublime beaches and charming town of Tulum.

 

This is a magical place where you will see monkeys everyday playing in the trees surrounding the home.The cenote is just steps from the home along a shaded path beneath the jungle canopy Retreat to the jungle and reconnect with nature in a big way.

The home itself encompasses the natural jungle that surrounds it, with virtually all the materials sourced locally and organically. Natural jungle wood beams and vine like stairs invite you to ascend to the tree- top views. The exterior of the home features jungle hardwoods, natural limestone masonry, stairs and jungle paths, creating a space that is in harmony with nature and the animals you share the jungle with.

This one of a kind jungle home is an experience that will provide a lifetime of memories! You WILL see monkeys every day, and you will likely come to recognize them individually as they will be there each morning and evening during your time in the jungle and often quite often during the day. The concept of the house is a “Tree house” with all rooms interconected by the stairs.
